I just noticed I finished my linework 3 weeks ago , holy shit I procrastinate
Anyway for those interested here is a still unfinished version of what I was doing

basicly stopped working on the warrior after the last post and worked a bit on the mage
I'm liking it so far and might go over to colouring it for a piece on its own

So a while ago I posted that I wanted to draw something with a little more action or life in it apart from all the static things I've drawn before

So here's an early preview of what I'm doing right now
Still sketch obviously, theres gonna be a mage and archor involved aswell, maybe big viking like guy with an axe, and ofcourse something they're gonna be fighting

Looking at art I made in the past I have come to the conclusion that it all looks lifeless and static, therefore I want to try and finally draw something that bursts of life.
(Well not exactly since I'm only used to drawing static things and portraits)
But I want to take on the challenge of trying something new in the hope to improve myself.

Anyone got any ideas on what to draw?
if you do please leave one or more of these;
-Theme
-Landscape (if there is a landscape)
-Time era , if there is need for it
-Character + personality maybe backgrounds (yeah I know big step coming from emotionless portraits)
-Feeling (what would the image feel like, ex: warm, cold...etc...)

If anyone were to give me ideas I cannot promise they will be used might mix some things, it's just that I am currently inspirationless

PS: I know this is NG but no cats, clockcrew or anything related to that. Also no dicks

So I'm almost done with this piece and quite satisfied over how it turned out, theres a few things i wish were better but my knowledge of using a drawing tablet and photoshop aren't quite as advanced as I need them to be to make it how I like

Anyway, still need to do some minor tweaks

tree still has to get some structure and leaves
Metal jaw still needs some shape and shading
Might add some blood and loose skin
And some tweaks here and there

I had to convert the image to a gif because it was too big to upload to NG even when its 500x700pixels

Ive been thinking of getting a ram upgrade from my current 8GB to 16GB just because of photoshop
What I'm making right now already uses up 5Gb of RAM memory, is there a way of reducing this without making photoshop lag? I'm worried that when I forget to save in a while photoshop will use up too much memory and my computer will freeze while trying to save

(That happend before when mcaffee starting randomly doing a virusscan)
I included a picture of what I have so far on the left and on the right what is supposed to be added (sketch overlay)

For a very long time I thought sketchup was just a very easy to use 3D program for basic concepts, as long as its not too fancy looking
Untill I used the v-ray plugin man was I amazed
It's not photorealistic and I used the default textures, but I didn't know SKetchup was capable of this

This time starting from a manual pencil drawing
It wasn't finished yet , but i'll finish it in photoshop

It's school related again, I have a theme with industry and nature
So it's half robot/cyborg
And theres a tree growing out of it's head
(Just to give you an idea)
