well today when i came home from swimming my dog went outside to the hedge then i heard some tjilping (idk how u spell it but y/k what i mean) i looked on the floor and there were some baby birds on the floor with there mouths open asking for food , and then i panicked not knowing what to do i kicked my dog away (not really but i put her back inside) got a box and put the chicks in it and then put them back in the nest
i called my grandma to ask what to do , grandma's know best ;)
she just said put back in nest and wait for mother to come back
but the mother never came back after waiting for a while , well ive seen her sitting on a pole but she didnt go back in the nest
so after a while me , my mom and my sisters boyfriend went on a worm hunt to feed the baby chicks
we broke some tools by trying 2 dig in the ground didnt find any on the grass , so we went 2 dig in the compost thingy were we found a large amount of rainworms , so we fed them
but i think 1 of them isnt going to make it because its very weak
at first there were 3 (i only found 2 out of the nest) but i found the third 1 dead on the grass so we just buried it

well if they make it or not i dont know i hope there mother comes back , if she doesnt and they die during the night well at least we tried to save them
